How it fits in the vehicle

Keep what's installed. Add one controller.

Weft Core mounts in a cabinet or technical compartment and connects to each system through the interfaces it already has. The existing equipment and power distribution stay as they are.

  1. 1Mount

In a cabinet or technical compartment, with the GNSS and LTE antennas where they can see the sky.

  2. 2Power

From the house battery through its own fuse, on 12 V or 24 V systems.

  3. 3Connect

Cable to the CAN house bus, the Truma CP Plus panel and the router. Pair Bluetooth equipment and Zigbee sensors.

  4. 4Commission

A guided flow pairs each system and confirms it's online before handover.

You keep
  • Your equipment and suppliers
  • Power distribution, fusing and switching
  • Each system's own panels and controls
Weft adds
  • One owner app across every system
  • Modes and automations across vendors
  • Remote support, updates and the assistant
In real vans

From an app for every system to one app for the van.

Three typical setups, before and after Weft. Every system stays in place.

Kept as installedVictron powerTruma CombiMercedes MBACMaxxFanGoldschmitt levellingPoE camerasStarlinkTeltonika router
Without Weft6 apps · 3 panels · 1 remote
  • Lights, pump and tanks on MBAC's dash screen and the Mercedes app
  • Heating on the Truma CP Plus panel by the door, with no remote control
  • Battery and solar in VictronConnect, only when standing next to the van
  • Cameras in the camera maker's app, Starlink in its own app
  • The fan on the MaxxFan remote, levelling in Goldschmitt's own app

When the heater faults at 3,000 m, the owner finds out when it gets cold.

With Weft1 app, from anywhere
  • Everything above stays. Weft Core joins MBAC, Victron and the Goldschmitt levelling over Bluetooth, the Truma over its TIN-bus, the MaxxFan by infrared, and the cameras and router over Ethernet.
  • One app under the builder's icon, reachable from anywhere over Weft Core's own cellular connection.
  • Low-battery alerts while the van sits, a router restart when Starlink drops, and camera recording.
  • With the owner's permission, the builder sees the van's state before the owner calls.
Weft Core

One box behind every system.

Installed once, during the build or as an upgrade. It runs control locally and has its own connectivity, location and sensing. A controller and gateway: high-current loads stay on your fused distribution.

  • ConnectivityEmbedded eSIM, LTE

Weft Connect keeps the vehicle reachable for remote support, alerts, updates and AI. Three years included, then owners renew it in the app.

  • ReliabilityIndependent supervisor

Watches the main processor and keeps relay outputs steady through restarts. Local control works with or without coverage.

  • House bus and heaterCAN-FD and Truma TIN-bus

Joins VE.Can, NMEA 2000, CI-BUS or RV-C at up to 5 Mbit/s, and runs Truma Combi heaters through the CP Plus panel's spare TIN socket.

  • NetworkGigabit Ethernet

A wired link to the vehicle router and the IP devices behind it, including cameras.

  • Location and motionGNSS, IMU, barometer

Position, heading, inclination, movement and altitude for support and automations.

  • Wireless sensorsZigbee 3.0

A built-in coordinator for supported low-power sensors, without another hub.

  • Power controlFour protected relay outputs

Restart the router or switch cameras and Starlink through standard relays. Wired fail-safe, so a Core fault never darkens the vehicle.

  • BluetoothTwo Bluetooth radios

One holds device connections and serves the owner app without Wi‑Fi; the other listens for Victron, Safiery and other telemetry.

  • Power statesAbout 5 W, with standby and deep sleep

Standby targets 0.3–0.5 W and deep sleep under 0.1 W, waking on motion, charging, a schedule or an SMS.

Technical details. Works on 12 V and 24 V house systems and mounts in a cabinet or technical compartment. FCC certification for the US launch. Full specifications are in the data sheet.

Displays · Coming in 2027

Two in-vehicle displays, alongside the app.

A compact round display turns between the readings owners check most. A wall panel shows the full overview. Both show the same vehicle state as the app.

Retrofit

Already on the road? Weft goes in too.

Same controller, same app, same price, without replacing equipment or rewiring the power system.
