Common questions
When can I order?
Ordering opens in the EU in Q1 2027 and in the US in Q2 2027. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you when Weft can be ordered in your country.
Does it work without mobile coverage?
Yes. Everything in the vehicle runs on Weft Core itself, so the app works on the vehicle's Wi‑Fi and over Bluetooth nearby. Coverage only matters when you're away from the vehicle.
Do I need to replace any equipment?
No. Weft connects to the systems already installed, and each keeps its own controls. Check compatibility to see what Weft works with.
What happens after three years?
You can renew Weft Connect in the app, at €129 a year, to keep remote access, alerts while you're away and the assistant. If you don't, everything in the vehicle keeps working as before, on its Wi‑Fi and over Bluetooth.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. Remote access runs through Weft's own relay, backups are encrypted before they leave the vehicle, and your builder sees the vehicle only when you approve it.
What if I lose my phone?
The recovery code from handover adds a new phone on board, over the vehicle's own Wi‑Fi, without calling anyone.
Which languages does the app speak?
English, German, Italian and Spanish.
